About Ireland

IrelandIreland is a large island of the British Archipelago. It has unbelievably amazing landscapes, the most interesting historical, architectural and cultural sights and very ancient history. The mountains, going down to the sea, long sandy beaches, countless tree crowns and picturesque small villages, edged with stone walls, make it especially wonderful. It puzzles everyone with its antique palaces, fortresses, castles of Vikings, monasteries and cathedrals. All this, provides tourists with unique atmosphere and gives unforgettable impressions. The major Ireland’s sights are concentrated in its capital – Dublin. Namely, the Saint Patrick's Cathedral, the Dublin Castle, the Christ's Cathedral, the National museum of Ireland, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the State Museum of Heraldry and others. More than that in the east of Ireland there are three huge tombs situated: Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. These miraculous constructions have enormous historical value and are the most important monuments of megalithic art in Europe. Ireland is full of charming national buildings that help tourists to plunge into the authentic atmosphere of its lifestyle. It is famous for its SPA centers that offer hundreds of relax programs purifying the whole human organism. Ireland is considered as “the green country” because it produces the most environmentally friendly products in the world; that is due to its closeness to the sea, soft climate and extensive rural areas. The Ireland’s cuisine can suit everyone since it is rather simple and healthy. If you have never tried the real Irish stew, it is better to do it right here, because it is rather difficult to cook it better than the Irish do. A great number of foreigners is attracted by the original pubs and bars tradition of the Irish and never misses the chance to get to know about the refined Irish alcoholic beverages like the Irish whiskey, beer or the apple cider. Ireland should be visited at least to try them all.
