About Japan

JapanJapan is an exceptional country of East Asia. It is often called “the country of the rising sun” because it is the first country on our planet above which rises the Sun. The sun in the center of its national flag symbolizes excellence, prosperity and wealth of the state. The country freely stretches on the Japanese archipelago. It consists of a set of picturesque islands, mainly of volcanic origin, differing in size and climatic conditions. The biggest are Honshu, Shikoku and Hokkaido. The nature endowed the state with surprising beauty: majestic mountains, dense forest, crystal lakes, deep rivers, bays, gulfs and lagoons. Woods and bushes that look like a huge green oasis, from a bird’s eye view, mainly present the flora. The most famous representatives of its Fauna are Japanese macaques that are swashing carelessly in icy waters of the Mountain Rivers all day long. Japan is a country of contrasts in all senses, and firstly in relates to its climate. The hot South with palm trees and bright colors and the cold North with ice-covered landscapes perfectly complement one another. Mountaintops are harmoniously combined with gorges and waterfalls, skyscrapers with medieval castles and mysterious Buddhist temples. The best example of the above said contrast is also the capital of the country – beautiful and highly developed Tokyo. It is difficult to tell in what particular season it is advisable to come to Japan; perhaps, in the period of the sakura blossom – a Japanese cherry tree that is considered a the symbol of the country. What could be greater if not walking around sakura garden, reading Hokku and learning the real sense of life? On the other hand, probably some would prefer seeing Japan in autumn and enjoy the view of the mountains, covered with a bright, red and yellow maple carpet. It is not an ordinary country since it has mysterious history, remarkable customs, traditions and specific mentality. In other words, it is a country of ancient Samurai traditions and latest technologies.
