Mallorca. Palma, the main town of the biggest island in Mediterranean. It is also the capital of the archipelago that consists of a great number of shallow Balearic Islands. Beauty of Mallorca bay can be compared to the bay of Naples. Both shores of the Bay are popular resort zones. Here there are long sandy beaches, rocky landscapes, and picturesque towns. The inner part of Mallorca preserves traditions, landscapes and architecture. The south-east of the island is a five-kilometer beach with resort areas. Paved pedestrian street amid tall palms runs along the beach. There are plenty of small cafes, restaurants in it. Right to the Bay there are two architectural monuments, Bellver castle is the only round castle in Spain, and the main Cathedral, built on the site of the Muslim Mosque near King’s Palace.
