Rio. The second city of Brazil is located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the world's largest harbor. The Brazilian city is unimaginable without its symbol Sugar Head and a huge statue of Jesus on top of the mountain. The central part of the city is famous for the residence of the Portuguese kings. The southern region has a fringe of sandy beaches with soft names – Ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon. The total length of the city's beaches is about 90 kilometers. In the north of Rio there is a legendary stadium Maracana, with the capacity to accommodate 150 000 football fans. Evergreen giant trees, slender palms with graceful canopy, a large number of exotic flowers decorate Rio everywhere. The annual parade of samba transforms the city into an unforgettable vibrant bright event.
